By HoseMark 5 Stars for TJ Thompson. 2 stars for Jason V.
There was almost 5 minutes of FJ self promotion before TJ was introduced. Then a 2 min. Then we finally get to hear from TJ Thompson speak! Jason, we know who you and the publication are; that is why we tuned in to the podcast - save the promontional stuff for FaceBook.
TJ Thompson touched on so many topics related to guitars and luthier - he has had a lot of experiences to draw from. These insights are valuable to both the player and builder. I enjoyed every minute he spoke - I only wish he had been given more time. I will definitely tune into more of these podcasts - especially the luthiers.

Read Sheet Music Plus's complete. It is indeed a good job and Keith is getting into details for the purpose of good music, and he is a very good musician.
I like the solos he made up, the way he gets into rythmic approaches with diversity on the same chords. In my point of view., the soft could have been more convenient (for exp.just to take a copy from a solo to work slowly on it, etc. Anyhow it is fun to work on and the music is good. 26 of 51 people found this review helpful. 2008-03-30 00:00:00.0 finally the right one. I have never written a review before but this dvd drserves my time i am 68 yrs old with no music ability who bought a guitar 2yrs ago nd over the years many beginner dvd tapes and books all of them assume you know something a beginner knows nothing this. Dvd assumes that if i bought this first that is all i would need this is the best investment beginner can make because you really do learn how to play 28 of 57 people found this review helpful. 5 Anonymous Location: Difficulty Level: Beginner. 2007-03-15 00:00:00.0 Very good DVD. This is by far the best DVD I have seen so far.
If you are learning guitar by yourself (as I am), this is the one you want. Keith Wyatt is a superb instructor, and the material is presented in a logical and easy to follow manner.
Overall, you can. Tell this is a very high quality DVD production (great camera angles and close ups, jammable practice tracks that repeat and have different overlays for TAB, fretboard animation, etc.). I have only been playing for 10 months, but I have purchased several other guitar DVDs and CD-ROMs. ALL of them have been low-budget productions with a bunch of 'stuff' all crammed together. Keith Wyatt's DVD is the complete opposite. Read all the reviews on other sites and you'll see the same thing.
It says something when you keep referencing and practicing one DVD over and over. You won't be putting this on in it's case for a long time. 31 of 59 people found this review helpful.
